The easiest way is to travel by night with the Bat Tube. You order a bat ride by placing your shoes at your bed side, with the shoe laces tight together.  A bat will pick you up during your sleep, and you will wake up well rested at the Gnomes Inn at the Dragonian Caves. 

If you wish to travel directly to Apple Hold or Leafenheim City, you will have to get your self a traveling potion from Mother Bog. You will easily find her on misty days no matter where you live, Bring a mug or a bottle, and ask her to fill it up with her traveling brew. If you can’t find her you can call for a Light Man to guide you to her. You call him by putting a fern leaf into you left shoe.  You will have to pay the Light Man with either a  match or a firecracker to make sure he take you the shortest way to see Mother Bog. (Traveling this way isn’t recommended for Children under age 18!)
