Budget and Costs;
Travelling to Nidlongdir is a very low cost vacation. You won’t have to bring any kind of money or credit cards, as they don’t receive any of it as payment. All you have to do is to bring your self, some good human stories, perhaps some music, and some food. If you are travelling to Dragonia you can bring some old junk you might want to trade with the Dragonian Kaput Traders.
The economic of Nidlongdir can not be compared with human economic. The good fairies of Nidlongdir have no understanding of numbers, they can barely count to five, and Nidlongdir is based on a trading system where you simply ask for some ting you might need, with the confidence that you will give some ting in return another time if needed.
The economic rules are;
- Those who provide supply for other shall give! Those who receive from other shall need!
- Those who can't provide supply for others will need, and therefore they shall also receive!
- Those who are greedy will not receive, they will be sent to the forgotten trunk to learn the meaning of need!
The Dragonian economic
The Dragonians have a trading system that they call sharing. The Dagonians gather kaputs when they go to the human world. They strongly believe in recycling, and will only use recycle materials.
The Dragonians will trade you for kaputs, but you wont get any money in return for your kaputs, you will receive the right to share kaputs and services, meaning you can ask for either another kaput in return or a service of some kind. The difference between the Dargonian trading system, and the Leafenheim trading system is that the Dragonians understand the concept of trading one thing for another, and the good fairies of Leafenheim don’t. The reason for that is, that the fairies of leafenheim use magic and spells for most of their goods, and services so they have no need for a trading system. The Dragonians society is build on trading and hard work so they have a better understanding of the human’s way of trading.
(Kaput = Dragonian word for Junk and recycling)
(Sharing, is the word the Dragonian people use for trade or swapping )
