Leafenheim city is becoming more and more out of control, and there have been more abandoned children found behind The Apple Worms Tavern than in the last turn of the sun. Mama Kauppa has founded a new Order called The Order of a Free Nidlongdir. The aim of the Order is to help the abandoned children, because most of them are left to die on their own. The new Order of a Free Nidlongdir, also known as the OFN, has strongly criticized the King and Queen’s court of racism. The founder of the order, Mama Kauppa, also accuses King Applestrong of neglecting his duties as king.

Mama Kauppa says, “It is outrageous that the king and queen’s court is turning a blind eye to this increasing problem. If the citizens of Leafenheim keep behaving in this irresponsible manner, Dragonia will have to increase the tree juice production to the double, because most of the abandoned children end up in foster homes in the Dragonian Caves.
If the good fairies of Leafenheim think it is ok to have a love affair with someone outside the city and then dump the outcome behind the Apple Worms Tavern, I will have to protest! I have raised two abandoned children myself, and I will not let this problem rest as long as I live!”

Nidlongdir Post has conducted a survey in Leafenheim City asking the good fairies if they are aware of this problem, and how they feel about the fact that newborn babies are abandoned behind the notorious Apple Worms Tavern, often left to die.
 
The outcome of the survey was appalling. Most of the citizens asked had been having love affairs with someone outside the city, at some point in their lives. Most of them knew about the abandoned children, and some even thought it was in the children’s best interest to be left to die, because they would be looked on as impure monsters.

We asked the good fairies to what extent they would keep a child from this kind of love affair. Would a child with a black nose, a fish tail, or bird wings be abandoned? The disheartening response was yes in almost all cases.
 
Mama Kauppa’s accusations against King Applestrong were as a result of these problems. If the king weren’t continuously busy hunting with his friends the White Lizard Knights, he would know what was going on in his own kingdom.  Rumours are that the king has more or less fled Apple Hold Castle to get away from the Queen. While he is away the Queen and her supporters are gaining more and more power, and as a result Leafenheim City is being exploited by her greed for fashion and exotic goods. The king was publicly heartbroken from unhappy love at the Snowdrop Ball in the spring, and we all feel sorry for him, but he has to grow up and take responsibility for his people.
 
The OFN has also taken on the cause of troll slavery. We cannot allow the poor conditions the trolls in Leafenheim city and Dragonia are living under. Most are kept in chains and only provided with food once a day. Some force their tolls to take baths as much as ten times a day, to get ride of the troll’s natural smell. Trolls are living beings, and should be treated in a kindly and respectful way. We condemn the way the Queen’s Guard hunts down trolls just for the fun of it. Two weeks ago they attacked a troll village, and killed twenty-four unarmed trolls. Some of them were old female trolls and others were only infants.
 
It is our hope that the OFN will be able to gain more supporters, we want to create a home for the abandoned children and a sanctuary for old trolls. We will work to stop the injustice in Nidlongdir so that all the citizens can live in kind magic and happiness.
 
As I am writing this article, I have been notified that more babies have been found, two of them were born with wings and fish tails and two have hooves and wings. If you are the mother or father of these children, and have a pure red apple heart, please reconsider leaving these children.

Mama Kauppa, who recently founded the Order of a Free Nidlongdir, also called the OFN, is now on the official list of wanted persons at Apple Hold Castle. She has returned to Dragonia where she will be protected by the Dragonian Gathering. The gathering has offered her their official support, and granted her a cave in the Dragonian tunnel to open an orphanage for the abandoned Children of Leafenheim City. The OFN Orphanage will open when the first night frost has come. The orphanage will give fairies, gnomes and humans the possibility to adopt some of the abandoned children. It has been decided that in order to adopt, you will have go through a test to show that you are able to take proper care of  the children you may wish to adopt. In most cases you will have to agree to take on a set of twins, because it is in the best interest of twins to grow up together! The opening of The OFN Orphanage has created some diplomatic problems between King Apple Strong's Court and The Dragonian Gathering. King Apple Strong's Court denies that there is a serious problem with abandoned children, and has threaten to deny the Dragonian Ambassador access to Apple Hold Castle. Although the King's Court has protested against the orphanage, Mama Kauppa says that she has received a great deal of support from citizens of Leafenheim, and she had a very large donation of apple juice from an anonymous donator.
