The Apple Pass and The Stone Map
We had a bad storm here on Als so I haven't been able to finish my painting of the boy fairy. He likes to sit in the sun, and when ever the weather turns dark and cold, he goes to sleep, so I have to paint him on the sunny days, and at this time of the year it might take some time for me to finish it, but I will keep you updated by showing you step by step how I work. I am also working on a new site called Nidlongdir, where I will gather all the stories and images about Nidlongdir. I will tell you more about it later!

This morning the weather was nice and sunny, and I went into the garden to pick some of the apples for my breakfast. I was quite cheerful, and was humming a melody I have heard in my dreams so many times, that I think I can play it on my guitar if I tried. The first thing I saw as I stepped out side, was a strange glowing light coming from the garden pass in front of the apple tree. I saw that some one had created a pass of apples toward the tree, and that a big pumpkin was placed at the end of the apple pass. There was a glowing stone in front of the pumpkin with an embossed map. The map was decorated with paint and there were some symbols or perhaps letters on the map. I went back to my kitchen to get my digital camera so that I could show you the beautiful sight of the glowing apple pass and the map.

I picked up the stone to explore the map and the symbols; I was a little scared of touching it, because it looked like it was hot, but when I gently touched it with my fingers it didn't feel hot at all. The stone felt a little rough, and it had a smoky smell to it. The map didn't look like the work of the fairies I had seen, it was more rough, and the paint didn't look organic, it looked much like the acrylic paint I some times use for my paintings. Actually when I came to think of it, things had been disappearing from my studio lately, and I am sure I am missing some pens with acrylic paint in the colours used on the stone. Perhaps some one is making fun of me? My son thinks I am a lunatic , because I believe in fairies, could he be the one pulling my legs?
I went into my kitchen with the stone, and there I was convinced that it wasn't my son pulling my legs, because when I checked on Selene I found a pile of things she had been collecting in the house. There were plastic bags, old magazines, some shells, some glass breads, an old lace, some sponges, a yellow color pencil, some glue and my missing acrylic pens. She had gathered all the things under an old arm chair. I have noticed that she fancy all kind of plastic things, and that she likes very bright colors.
I placed the stone in my window and hoped that I some how could work out the meaning of the symbols. I am thinking that the map is showing a pass to the underground world where the Black Nosed fairies live. The map clearly shows a border between the underground and the world above.
