I Had a Gift
This sure was a fine day to wake up!
At the moment I opened my eyes I could feel the magic in the air. No wonder, I looked right into the eyes of a very scared fairy. She looked a lot like the Shaman fairy I have seen in the garden. She had the same tattoo on her cheek, and the same kind of Lady Bug Antennas. She backed of, and hit the sealing, then I saw a green light, and she was gone.
I reached for my glasses on my night table; there I saw a small wooden box. I had never seen it before. I thought it was a gift from my husband; he is out of town on a business trip, so I was very thrilled. It looked like a small jewellery box. The lid of the box had a very nice carved pattern.
When I opened the box I could smell the sense of flowers. The box was covered with very soft green moss, and I found a very strange necklace inside it. It looked like the buttons the fairies in my garden have on their throat. I picked up the necklace to try it on; it felt strange, it was made of some kind of organic material. It was soft, and jet smooth like a mushroom. I knew that this had to be a gift from the fairies, and not a gift from my husband. I also knew that now all my troubles communicating with the two twin fairies would be over; this wasn't a necklace this was a fairy communicator.
The twins are growing fast; they can't sleep in the apple any more. I have made a bed for them in a flower pot. Their wings are also getting larger, but I am not sure when it is time to find them a flying instructor, so it would be nice to be able to talk to them.
I put on the necklace; it felt alive, it wrapped it self closely to my throat. I got quit scared, and I tried to take it of again, but it was stuck. The button on the necklace was placed in the same way it is on the fairies, and when I pushed it I could smell the sweet perfume.
I picked up the box to examine it. At the bottom there was an inscription I couldn't read, it looked like some kind of runes. There was also a small leaf with some inscription inside the box. It was rolled, and sealed with purple wax. I will have to find a way to learn how to read the runes.
When I looked at my self in the mirror it looked like I had a tattoo around my neck, with a button pierced into my throat. The button looked like it was breathing on it's own. I was a bit scared that I wouldn't be able to take it of, but there had to be some way of removing it.
I tried to turn the button on my throat to the left, it started to play some kind of music, it sounded like a flute. Then I turned it to the right, and the tattoo started to glow like a neon light. I felt like my skin got very warm, and then the fairy communicator snapped of my neck.
You can properly understand that I was much relived!
