 Apple Hold/ Dragonia Conflict

Taking a fall down the stairs was quit hurtful so I have been taking it easy for a few days.  Selene has learned to do her navigation sounds, so that she can navigate by night. Ebbe is getting more and more active, he has also started to grow much faster, I think the longer days are good for him. Moonswift has been here, and now I know why Selene's flying suit has a tail! It's not a tail, it's a safety handle. When she is practicing her flying skills with Moonswift, he will grab her by the tail if she is going to crash. Perhaps I should get a flying suit to wear when I have to go down our stairs LOL.

I have been thinking of my new task as ambassador, and the more I have thought about how I can solve the conflict between the Fairies of Apple Hold and the fairies of Dragonia, there more I am convinced that the conflict isn't just about the tree juice, and apple juice production. When I look at my apple trees in my garden, they look like good and strong trees. I have even showed you photos of all the winter apples I left on the trees for the birds, so I don't think that the tree juice production is doing any major harm to the apple trees. I think the conflict is more about cultural differences between the two fairy societies, and perhaps it also has some thing to do with the twins. The older they get the more obvious it is that the parents are from both sides. 

I have been listening to the whispering leaves I got from Mama Kuappa, and I have learned that there are huge differences between the two groups of fairies. 

The Apple fairies are ruled by King Applestrong and his Queen Agrafina. The King and Queen rule Leafenheim in a very strict manner, and they don't like any sort of changes. The Dragonians are quite opposite; they are a republic, ruled by the elected Elder Advisors. 

Both societies live in a cloth relationship with Mother Nature, but they are doing it in very different ways.

The Apple fairies use magic, but there are limits to their magic when it comes to organic things, they can use their magic to provide better conditions for growing plants and help animals to survive. The magic powers they hold is the kind of magic that can provide them with nifty things, like the dropped flower dresses I have found in my garden. Some of the Apple fairies have more powerful magic than others.  There are Shamans who can do nasty things like turning living things to stone or dust, but most of the time they use their magic to cure plants, and animals from diseases.

The Dragonians have very limited magic powers. Most of them work hard. They all have skills that they are very proud of, but there are only two skills they can learn, that will give them magic powers. The jewelry crafters can create enchanted jewelries, and the musicians can enchant their surroundings with their music.

I have discovered that if I roll the whispering leaves with the bag side out, they can show pictures, and I have seen the most amazing things.

 I can't wait to take the potion I got from Mother Bog, and go into this enchanted world, but first I will have to plan it very carefully to make sure I don't upset any of the sides any more than they have been.
