This enchanting hotel dates back to the time when Leafenheim City was founded, under the first king of Nidlongdir, called king Apple Core. The king's daughter Princess Elyra started the inn to make sure Leafenheim City would become the main city of Nidlongdir. The Inn is known for its excellent hospitality and a high quality of facilities and service.
The Blue Bells Inn is situated out side Apple Hold Castle on Upper Branch Road. The Butterfly Coach lands right outside the Inn. You will find The Blue Bells Inn a convenient base for your vacation.
The lobby of the hotel is decorated by the Pilienur Fairies, but the original lobby was build from stones. The old walls can still be seen at the end of the lobby where you also will find the large stone widows. When you enter the lobby you will have to enter one of the green boats. The boats are the internal transportation, and can take you any where you want inside the hotel.
The Inn has 12 bedrooms, each of them are completely individual in character and are named instead of numbered. Many are grand, charming rooms with floral paneling and king sized beds. The Inn has made a great effort to make the rooms comfortable for fairies as well as humans and gnomes. All the rooms have a small collection of books, which is very unusual to find in Nidlongdir.
The Blue Bells Inn had many famous guests through time. Most of the royal family of Alfenheim has stayed at the Inn. All Guests are urged to sign the Inn’s Guest Leaf or if you are human the guest book, and it is interesting to look through the book to see who signed it!
The current owner of The Blue Bells Inn is Bibi Blue Bell, who inherited the inn from her mother Ulda Blue Bell. The inn never had a male owner, and it’s said that the inn will wither, and its roots rot should it ever fall into the hands of a man.
The Inn is hunted by the white mermaid; she swims through the inn’s water channels, looking for a magic pendant that will set her soul free. The white mermaid stayed at the inn before her married to Princes Wild-Apple of Apple Hold Castle. The legend tells, that the white mermaid was caught with her lover, and killed by the jealous prince, with the same fork he had as a gift from the father of his bride to be. Later when the prince became king, he banned all the merpeople from Apple Hold Castle and Leafenheim City.
