The Royal suite was the first room to be decorated when the Inn was founded by princess Elyra. Most of the furniture is gifts Elyra had from her early visitors. The Elegant blue bed was a gift from the Elven Queen Titania, who was the last of the Elven people to visit Leafenheim City. After a war between King Apple Core and Queen Titania over The part of Nidlongdir now known as The Mist, the Elven people retreated into Alfenheim.
To put an end to the war between The Apple Fairies and the Elven people, Elyra married an Elven prince called Blue Ash. The married turned out to be a very happy married, but King Apple Core did not trust his new son-in-law, so to get him out of the way, he build a castle on an island in The Mist. The castle was heavy guarded by the king’s men, and to keep the young couple apart King Apple Core, build a house outside Apple Hold Castle called The Blue Bells.
Princess Elyra was not happy with his father’s behavior, and in secret she went to Queen Titania to ask for her help! The Elven Queen was a very light-hearted queen, and sent a gift to Elyra on her wedding night. The gift was the enchanted blue bed that still is at use in The Royal Suite.
The day after their wedding Queen Titania visited the young couple in The Blue Bells, to put an enchantment on the bed, so that it would turn into a blue dragon. The dragon would take Elyra to her husband on his castle in The Mist, whenever she wanted to visit him.
Elyra outlived her Elven prince. The night she left Nidlongdir to go to Valhal she set the Blue Dragon free, but once every year on the day of summer solicits the dragon returns, and if you sleep in the bed, it will take you to the island where prince Blue Ash used to live in his castle.
Elyra hated to be on her own in the house her father had built for her, so she turned it into an inn. She also hated her fathers guard, and refused to let any men stay in the Inn. After she died her daughter Fie Blue Bell took over the inn, and decided to give men access to the inn.
